Who are Toastmasters?
Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs. Headquartered in Englewood, Colo., the organization's membership exceeds 364,000 in more than 16,200 clubs in 145 countries.
Since 1924, Toastmasters International has helped people from diverse backgrounds become more confident speakers, communicators, and leaders. The members, called as Toastmasters, meet regularly, develop various skills and growth together.

NITT Chapter
NIT Trichy is fortunate to have a chapter of Toastmasters International, which is scaling new peaks since 2016.

The chapter consists of three clubs :

Each of these clubs organise weekly meetings, participate in contests and together conduct workshops.

The chapter is a mix of some of the finest students of our college, who develop and grow together in a
positive and cheerful atmosphere.
Why become a Toastmaster ?
Toastmasters will give you the skills and confidence you need to effectively express yourself in any situation. Becoming a Toastmaster is the most efficient, supportive, enjoyable, and affordable way of gaining great communication skills. By learning to effectively formulate and express your ideas, you open an entirely new world of possibilities. You’ll improve your interpersonal communication and be more persuasive and confident when giving speeches.
Besides helping you to achieve your personal and professional goals, becoming a Toastmaster will widen your social network, receive constructive feedback to improve yourself, act as a platform for experimenting yourself, all in a friendly, positive and motivational atmosphere.
